We visited the store and were hoping to buy a small pack of beers but were refused first by an incompetent junior member of staff named James (who looks 18 years old) as we weren’t able to provide PHYSICAL copies of our IDs (26 and 28 years old). We ultimately spoke to his manager Keiran and advised him that we’d already shopped at the same place for the past 5 years without any previous issues - unfortunately, however, he was clearly not a problem solver (an essential part of management skills) and insisted that we return with hard copy IDs.

We are not complaining about them asking IDs as per law but complaining about the inconsistency of the ID review process which needs to be implemented in line with standard retail procedures to avoid further inconvenience and also build your customer loyalty base. Please avoid this shop!

Most expensive shop in Bournemouth, often woken before 8am on a Sunday by very noisy delivery lorries breaking their planning consent rude or indifferent staff although I can see it from my place will drive to Southbourne or Tuckton

Very friendly and helpful staff and good selection of items.

A pleasant medium-size store with friendly staff and the option of self-checkout. Conveniently situated on the main road and it's usually possible to park along the road. Also has a small car park at the back.

Nice local store with the essentials, and a good choice of meal ideas. Staff friendly.

I’ve just shopped at this store and a lovely assistant named Chloe served me. It was so refreshing to be greeted by a smiley face and yet very professional. Thank you Chloe

This is by far the best small convenience store in Southbourne. I haven’t done any price comparisons but the staff are so friendly and chatty here that I enjoy coming in to shop and don’t mind if i’m spending more (I might not be, I don’t know). I live closer to a tesco express but the staff in there are miserable and very serious. I do wish the coffee wasn’t so good here; I would prefer to buy my lattes from individual local businesses and help keep them afloat but the in-store Lavazza machine makes the best coffee and you can get a pastry on top for just £2.20. Bargain!

Always had friendly and helpful service here. Also a good range of products and perfect to stock up if holidaying locally. Late opening hours helps.
