Co-op Food - Ashford

The store is small in size ! Yet, it has everything needed for a quick shopping. The wine selection is good. Has a decent selection of varied breads too. Also clean, tidy & good standards. Good customer service.

A little store but very well run. Does not get very busy which is just what we want in these testing times. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Shelves were well stocked. I could do our full shop in there if needed.

I live in Ashford and the service in this shop is always abismal. Today I walked in, collected my shopping and stood in line to pay. Only 1 person serving but chatting in an earpiece while he did and paying little to no attention to the customer. Meanwhile, I was 4th in queue and there were 3 other members of staff just stood around chatting (not working whilst they did). I was in the queue for about 10 minutes before I was served, it doesn't seem long but when those in front of me had very little shopping, the guy on the till slowed the whole thing down due to being on the phone.
To add, it wouldn't kill the staff to invest in a little deodorant either.

very bad experience....staff using very bad words on shop floor....they said they are the manager..not in this store anymore...

Double check EXPIRATION DATES when you buy from there and you in a hurry. I am delivery rider, I was in a hurry and bought an old sandwich ..... minus 2.75

This shop is VERY expensive. Also the price tickets are wrong and end up paying even more‼️ please check your receipts‼️ Offers do not work. When stuff challenged they say the price changed and they didn't know🤷🏽‍♀️ didn't they? Then when asking for refund they being rude.. happened more than 5 times. Not much that can be purchased there anyway due to the extreme prices choicesof productsthey have in store! AVOID

Staff rude at times. Stock levels becoming woeful however. Frequently empty shelves. Other supermarkets in the area, like Sainsbury's and Tesco don't seem to struggle to fill their shelves. Parking hit and miss. Some people leave their vehicles outside for hours. Would be good if the council introduced an hour's limit. Maybe 2.
