I have never ever seen him with a smiling face. Other day during the hot weather last week, someone ahead of me mentioned how it was nice and cool inside their shop due to their aircon. The owners response - not even a thanks or a smile... As everyone else has mentioned, I wonder how a shop can survive with such poor customer service approach. I hope the owner realises. Btw my own experience has been no better!
Dear owner, my review wasn't based on this above singular experience but the multitude of times I have turned up at the store to have never felt welcome EVEN ONCE!
Please improve your customer experience and the reviews will take care of itself!

This place does not deserve any stars. I would give it minus stars if it was possible. Noone should ever use this store. The two men who run this place are disgustingly rude. Shame on you for your dispicable behaviour. You should feel embarrassed.

The store itself is a bit cramped but maybe that’s because I’m slightly large 😂 otherwise, I’ve never had a problem with these guys and they have helped me above and beyond before. I don’t understand these other reviews saying that the gentleman with the turban and glasses is miserable, every time I go there he greets me with a big smile and wishes me well.
Stock is always full and if they don’t have anything they order it in for you. Very impressed with these guys.

Literally had to review! I went in tonight to collect a parcel waited so I could get my daughter at the same time from her train. 7.15pm they are open but they won’t give me my parcel!! They won’t give them after 7pm. If they were closed that’s different. They are so miserable beyond words whenever you go in there I literally wouldn’t set foot in the place if it wasn’t convenient. But I won’t again. Rude! Rude! Rude!

Sold me an incorrect product in different packaging and when I took it back to return it accused me of changing what was in the box as apparently the branding was different. Why would I go to all the effort to swap a charging cable and return it? I do not appreciate being accused of trying to swindle a couple of quid out of a smelly corner shop, I have far better things to do with my time. Enjoy the cable I left for you, I'm sure you'll package it up and sell it again to another unfortunate customer in a hurry. It's a shame COVID didn't close you down permanently when it had the chance.

Really sullen and rude people. They run an evri drop off point and they are so rude when taking parcels. I generally avoid the shop for anything else because they are very rude and grumpy at the counter. Don’t know what their problem is.

This weekend they lied and said that Machine wasn’t working when in fact it was because they don’t wanna take certain size parcels. We walked with a parcel to the shop -the shop came up as a recommended drop off point for the return with this retailer.
It was less than a metre long but heavy and fragile. They said the machine wasn’t working. So we walked the parcel back home and the following day we checked at the shop and younger guy there said the Machine was working but he obviously didn’t Know what parcel we wanted drop off.

So we walked the parcel back to the shop and they refused to take the parcel again saying the machine wasn’t working! my husband challenged them and asked why they were lying. They admitted it was working and started to say that the parcel was too large. My husband had to insist they take out of tape measure and measure the parcel which was 80 cm long they had to take it but they did not do it happily. What a shame they are so untrustworthy and lied.

These people took over the shop from the original owner who was such a nice man, had such a nice family was a pleasure shopping with him. These guys need some training in customer care they seem to pick and choose customers they wish to treat fairly. Worst of al the new owners cannot be trusted!

First time using the EVRI drop off at this store. The guy in the shop was very helpful and pointed me in the direction of the printer and afterwards told me to go next door to the coffee shop to drop off the parcel.
I waited for someone to turn up, when they did I said hello - no response. I asked could I drop off a parcel - no response. First word he said - sign! He meant could I please sign the device. Second word - stick!
He meant could I please stick the label on the parcel. Customer service was appalling, such a shame as next door was great.

Extremely rude people as per the same reviews written by prior comments. Same experience of wanting to avoid taking Evri parcels. Dire attitude towards people using Evri parcel collection service. Why be a 'franchise' if they hate doing it so much?
