Not so cool after being refused AMEX with £70 worth of groceries.
But they do accept cash !

The lady serving needs to brush up on her people skills. When I just want a pint of milk, and am trying to handover the money, and I keep getting asked sales questions that i've no interest in, my answers will get shorter until I eventually force the pound into your hand, say thankyou and leave. Continuing to press the big sale is rude, paying for a litre of milk isn't.

So, really like this place the staff is just fab. Big shoutout. However the fruit and veg section is lacking and too pricey which seems archaic in this day and age. I know many people would rate an updated fresh section!

Staff are friendly. Good coffee machine. Good range for size but a bit expensive for some items. Would love to see more vegan options.

I like this shop for it's employees but it's a rip off for price. Good Milk. Good Broccoli. Good Cheese. Good Butter. Good Potatoes. Good Beer. Not so good pricing, infact extremely steep for the items. I price compared this shops items to every other retailer and in particular I found that each item I had was 20/30p higher than anywhere else. They will probably claim that prices are higher because of logistics and delivery of goods but this is a farce and untrue, the Mcoll's in Whipton isn't as bad as this one as they don't mark up the prices like this, they take advantage of the shop being adjacent to a supported living block of flats so they know they can squeeze extra profits.

The guy is the only nice staff in there. The ladies are quite rude.
