Co-op Food - Newcastle Under Lyme

Lovely, lovely, staff - nothing too much trouble for them. A credit to the Co-op 👏

This review does not even warrent 1 star, but had to put one so I could write something.
A Cocky, rude, inexperienced, unproffesional, untrained idiot of a male member of Staff by the name of Matt served me in this store today..... well If you can call it service! it certainly wasn't customer service, he seriously lacked in that department!!

I will not return to this store while this sorry excuse of a man is working there.....
I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me & I told him this to his face.....His reply was "did I have a problem with that" well Yes I actually did? He has a shocking attitude to a female customer who only nipped in quick & left feeling extreamly upset & angry!

I complained to the Duty Manager, who appologised on this fools behalf, but I dont think anything will be done about it.
Please train your staff to have customer service skills as I think this fool slipped through the net!!
If I had of been a man I would of Lamped him one! That would of wiped the stupid grin of this fools face as he found himself to be really funny....

Went in to buy a meal deal, all of the sandwiches say "honest quality" on the side of the box. Upon asking the member of staff adjacent to the crisps where I might happen upon a sandwich of "dishonest quality" I was met with a look of disgust. The member of staff just looked me up and down from the Stiletto heels on my feet to my rainbow afro wig, I nearly spat out the rocks I was chewing on I was that shocked by the customer service and not just because this interaction started with me being woken up during a really good dream.

The parking in-store was abysmal and I barely had room in the drinks aisle for my van. Upon leaving I was met with taunts such as "get out you weirdo", "you're banned for life" and "that's not a toilet!".

All things considered, I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely shop and staff but always busy and most of the time have to queue to pay for quite a while

Pasta from the meal deal it’s amazing, nice store with super nice and polite employees.
