Local shop with everything you might need. Small store but opens early and closes late each evening. Always a que at the tills but service is quick and efficient

Not a massive selection but for an estate it is perfect for pop in and buy all those other things you forgot or if visitors turn up you can enjoy a feast

Small shop but got everything you need, friendly staff and always tries to serve you asap.

I'm absolutely fuming with the poor state of customer service at this establishment. I bought a 99p pack of marshmallows with the change left in my pocket. I understand that paying for it with 10, 20 and 5 pence pieces takes time to count, but it is the shop assistant's job to understand this. This woman, rather than giving me the correct amount of change (as I paid extra), grunted and, when I asked about the change, flapped her arms at me and waved me off. I'd at least like to receive the decency of being given the correct amount of change but no, this particular woman decided to grunt at me and refuse my right to proper change. I'm not impressed by the poor service of this lady, and I certainly won't be shopping here again. This lady should be taught correct manners and taught how to deal with small issues like this one.

Don't go there 5 minutes before closing and expect it still to be open.
Walking there last night and half way across the French Square to see the shutter coming down.

“If we don’t know what you are talking about, we clearly don’t have it” - why yes of course, however sort your tone out love. Trying to embarrass a customer for asking a question as they obviously don’t know anything about what you stock is poor service. Singling out normal people and picking and choosing your favourite customers is awful customer service too. Shame on you! For anyone who shops here, won’t be hard to miss this one. :)
