Go at 6pm for serious bargains! None of the pubs really cater to vegans, so decided to go in the co-op for food i could take back to the campsite I was staying in. They were in the process of marking everything down and I got over £10 worth of food for £4 :)

Only one person on till. One doing stock check. 3 self-service tills available. Busy. People choosing not to use self-service cos after scratchcards, etc. I wanted these & want personal service not doing job which loses someone the chance of an assistant's job.

Beautiful COOP in a beautiful area. Ample parking at the rear and some really marvellous and funny staff. Can't wait to come back to this store.

Expensive, a small percentage of staff are quite helpful but remainder are rude and surley. Plus you have facial recognition system which I find offensive and intruding. The Co Op are not as ethical as they make out.

However, if you vist the Whaley Bridge store its a different story, the staff are wonderful.
