Co-op Food - Southwell

Large store with great selection of produce. Much bigger than our local branches which are less destination, more convenience. Staff friendly and helpful. Located just outside town centre. Has a good sized car park.

As supermarkets go it's on the high end with automatic servers and very few queues. However there are much higher prices within the store to cover these costs and the problem of highwr prices is further exasperated by the high living cost of the area. But its a good overall service with friendly staff and little to no waiting.

A wide range of products to choose from. The till options are; self service, basket checkouts and trolley check outs. A toilet is available for the use of customers, it's not a gendered toilet and is wheelchair accessible. There is a large car park with disabled parking and children parking. A cash point is also available with free cash withdrawals.

A small supermarket but well stocked. Obvious problems at the moment with coronavirus but customers are well marshalled with a door traffic light. Consequently customer numbers in the store are reduced but you do feel safer. There is a one way system and the tills have well signed approaches. When I have been there customers have been very well behaved. Shelves are well stocked even with flour and paracetamol.
As its in the same park as the doctors surgery it is easy to get to without a special journey. No unnecessary trips.

A good top up store with a good variety of food. Wouldn't go here for a weekly shop as it's too pricey but tidy, modern and convenient to shop at with good parking. Avoid going at nearby school going in and kicking out times though as it gets very busy then.

Very good, helpful staff. Always willing to help. Always have plenty of check out staff, so no need to hang around.
Everything seems pricey, but all the shops in Southwell seem overpriced to a certain extent.

Why does Southwell Co op always have a delivery problem, there is no fresh fruit and veg again today.

What a miserable shop, and I can't believe this is the only supermarket available in the town of Southwell! Unhappy lady at check out who only opens her mouth to say the price (while strangers say hello in the streets), shelves half empty, high prices...
