Love visiting Ripley mostly to buy ice cream. We had the soft scoop ice cream with both vanilla and blackberry flavour. Even in the hot sun not a drop got away.😃 only 4 stars as 3 ice creams cost me just short of £10 ( 1xmedium, 2 x small) when asked if I wanted two flavours mixed wasn’t made clear it would cost a lot more. Nice treat though.

Girl serving ice cream had no idea whether it was gluten free. Made no attempt to find out. Not impressed with the service at all.

More 'gourmet' deli-type produce (Yorkshire crisps, lagers etc.) than actual groceries, but the baked goods are definitely a positive. We had a warm pasty which was delicious and a low price, the pork pies and cakes also looked amazing. Picnic tables outside make it a lovely, well priced lunch stop.
