Co-op Food - Alexandria

Very spacious store. No loud music. Good layout. Staff are always very friendly and help you pack your shopping. Prices are a bit expensive. Selection is good though. Offers can be good. If you're a 'yellow sticker' person they always have a selection at all times of the day. However, the dates are usually very short. Good for a quick shop but too pricey for a months stock up.

CO-OP food is even better now that self checkout is in place. Always room to manoeuvre around the store. If you want quick good quality shopping in a hurry with no huge cue at the till in a civilised environment. You won't feel that you can't pause to linger, with no fear of being in the way of an army of shoppers you'll enjoy the experience of shopping here. Better value to be found elsewhere, but always very high standards and never overly busy.

Rediclously long queues, Older staff are out of order with the exception of an older woman with long brown hair she's lovely, younger staff are nice, overpriced, got accosted verbally by a older male staff member for buying a certain paper and carrying a sign for a protest, unprofessional... Only go in to top electricity key and ciggerettes. But actually hate that place if there was an alternative that took card I would go there!!!

Great little CO--OP, got most of the stuff you could want, friendly staff, some good deals, own label stuff of dependably good quality, and there's always the joy of the members dividend. I save mine up and buy treats. Plenty of fair-trade/organic/vegan/GF stuff available too, should you want it.

Always a queue at the tills because the more senior of the community won't use the self service, nor will you be able to get past due to their shopping trolleys.

Handy for shopping and parcel drop off for MyHermes. Taken a star off because the self service tills are tricky to access currently and it ends up with one massive queue with people waiting for the kiosk to pay right back the shop somedays. Surely you can add a second lane for the self serve within the one way system? Staff are always pleasant and helpful here.

Edit: queues are always ridiculous now. Every time I go in you have to queue for ages til they get someone else on the till :(

Great Store with all the essential items .
Can find some really good deals especially when using the app you can get some exclusive offers for members.

Limited parking means abandoned cars on main rd at junction. Store layout feels crammed and dark dispute space around entrance displays. Staff were focused on tasks but helpful. To many self service tills and not enough manned tills.
