SPAR Chirk

Found a caterpillar in my "in store prepared salad". I emailed SPAR about it, and would have been happy with a written apology / explanation and refund. However, the area manager replied by asking me to call her on the phone to discuss (without offering a written explanation). When I refused to speak on the phone she replied to say that she will arrange for a refund - if I visit the shop. The petrol to drive there will cost more than the salad so I will cut my losses and plan to never purchase food from the shop again.

1st time I had been when I went to pick up my 1st ever too good to go package. Got given a great supply and the member of staff was both lovely and lovely. Thankspar

Great store, has a great selection of food drink and household items, the best place in town for croissant, French sticks and has the best pasties and sausage rolls in town, last but not least friendly helpful staff.

Great store, they've got most of what you need and a convenient post office, but they rarely have salt & vinegar crisps so 4 stars.

Saw one of the staff asleep in the post office. Also staff said to me, that I shouldn't post things from there as "it will probably get lost"

Good parking friendly staff

Good local shopping. Good welcome and social distancing observed by all.
