Increasingly impressive local supermarket. Well stocked and good quality produce. Since the refurbishment a very nice place to shop. Since Covid19, not so good but only due to the locals ignoring social distancing, which is the same everywhere.

Delivery driver blocked the whole road for at least 10 mins while making a difficult manoeuvre (blindside onto bay).
No staff members present to help/speed things up.
I would have thought it company policy that staff would be available to assist and maintain good Health and Safety practices.
Worst of all there was an elderly lady with a walking aid stood the whole time waiting. Not good enough in my opinion COOP you need to address your company policies and procedures.

Good store with a decent range of products. Very handy if you forget something on your weekly shop since the nearest large supermarket is an half hour drive away. I wouldn't do my weekly shop here as it's far too expensive but this store is a good store that's not too far away.

Though i like this co-op with its fresh looking fruit & veggies and well laid out everything else im dismayed to see about half the customers not wearing masks and nobody challenging them. There always seems to be a shortage of staff when I've been in the shop. Get your finger out co-op. I want to feel safe when i shop! That's why I've downgraded them to 4*

Very expensive. Everything twice the price of other supermarkets. But its the only one in the village, so unless you want to drive out a few miles you are just going to have to fork out a little extra for your essentials.

Lacking in stock of some types of items. Only a few packets of crisps and no toilet paper! Stock of things like fruit, veg meat etc seemed fine. Store was clean

Very disappointing by service. Not only had I to wait for ages at self-checkout as not enough staff were on the shop floor (it was 5pm on Friday 9 April - a busy time when everybody's come out of work, getting a few bits before going home), but I was then told I couldn't buy the reduced tub of ice cream, I was going to get with some brownie bites. Why? Because the sell-by date had expired. The yg shop assistant wouldn't budge, even though I told him I was totally happy to buy it - I often eat out-of-date food without any problems. He told me he was going to throw it. I told him I didn't want it going to waste! This is really outrageous #foodwaste is so disgusting and a major problem in the UK and the world. It's very sad that this is happening.
