Was made to feel very unwelcome in this shop by the Asian man , to then bar me from the shop as I was exempt ! He then put his middle finger up at me as I was leaving the shop at the entrance of the door. Wish there was customers there to see because I was so upset leaving by the way I was spoke to never mind being bared for no reason & then the middle finger !!

Great little local shop, good range of products and, contrary to some other reviews, I find the staff are very helpful. During Covid they went to great pains to ensure everyone felt safe using the shop.

Very rude guy serving. I attempted to return a parcel via Hermes who informed me that this store is the nearest offering packageless returns and label printing (as you can see on my picture). He told me that I'm mistaken and refused to look at my evidence on the website. I politely said no problem and suggested he have them change the details to avoid others making the same wasted journey. He just replied "No, I don't care what it says on their website".
I would avoid shopping here if you can.

Its states the shop is open until 7pm. Not true, I have been there 5.15pm & the shop is all locked up. Have a parcel to collect from there but I work 2 jobs, when the shop shuts 2 hours earlier than stated on websites its a wounder there is any business at all...

Just read the previous comments and realized it's standard experience to leave this place frustrated. Short story.. Amazon tells me take the parcel to the shop they will print a QR code for you, he gets angry at me for not having boxed my item. But it's clearly in a box. Does it matter that it's got a picture of a product on the box... It shouldn't as it's a return at no point was I told I need to put the item in an extra box. He's basically saying I should box a boxed item and, the way the guy was getting frustrated and was saying Amazon is not giving clear advice and making customers lazy. And some other ramblings in an accent I could barely understand, I say he needed to be clearer with customers, write down your operating procedures for customers to read, if Amazon are being lazy then email them and sort the issue out, or get your store taken off the Hermes package route, I mean you get paid for each package returned, and all you have to do is print a label, and it' wasn't enforced on you, it was your choice to become a Hermes drop off and pickup shop. I'm local and I wouldn't go back to this store ever again. With staff like this you wonder why local shops are not doing well. At least in Asda they have a procedure they can explain to you and be nice and calm about the issues. If I was the store owner I would buy a load of medium sized boxes and sell them to the customers if their package didn't meet the requirements, simple business sense that, price a box at a quid or more and I guarantee every customer would buy a box when they return their item. You make money from returned parcels plus an extra pound or two.

Thought I'd experienced a one off today. Not so looking at reviews. Same problem too. Would not help with package return. Obnoxious and unpleasant. Made me walk around his shop despite being the only person in there. "My shop my rukes". And charging over £1 for something that costs less than 40p in asda.
Only a matter of time till he gets his comeuppance I hope .

I must say, the small Phillipino Lady is quite pleasant, but the rest of the staff in this shop are lacking in any social etiquette. They are rude and do not converse in a friendly manner at all. Its a wonder anybody uses this shop!!!!

I suggest the owners sell up, and let somebody else run this shop in the manner that the local residents and other customers deserve......and staff....you need to go and work where there is no need to serve, converse or even see other people!!!
