SPAR Valley

Stopped off on part of a long cycle. Staff were welcoming and chatty and let me sit down for half hour. Friendly local offered advice on changing my route to avoid flooding

Lots of drinks. Soft drinks, alcohol, water and milkshakes. Subway is amazing and lots of food! Also baby products are sold in spar. Very handy

Great store, good fresh local food, plus, great opening times
...but there were a couple of staff that are too big for their boots. A "supervisor" called Michelle, said i should stop smoking, she was very derogatary , then a young blonde lad told me i couldnt buy 4 cans and a bottle of wine??? He assumed my Dads birthday gift been for my 16 year old ??? And it was more than his jobs worth.

Have to hand it out to the two guys on the night shift , first one is the Bradley Walsh look alike an absolute pleasure to chat with so considerate and friendly and happy to help , the second guy very quiet chap but lovely always has my bottle of wine ready for me literally before I ask for it , if that’s not good customer service I don’t know what is ! Really need to have more than one member of staff permanently on the tills , lovely old lady works in the morning but she is extremely slow and never rings the bell for help, the tills should be manned at all times to save long queues getting ridiculous now actually !

Friendly & happy staff oh and helpful sociable nothing to trouble for them thumbs 👍.

Well stocked shop. Plenty of parking

Have most things stocked. Been at 3am and you won't find milk, pies, bread etc to be excepted. Try their best to offer alternative items.
