Think some customer service training required. After buying and paying for a newspaper and some kitchen roll, the female assistant shouted “have you paid for that paper” and then berated me for not keeping to the 2 metre distance in an empty shop! Going to Tesco from now on.

Friendly local convenience store.

Used to be very open and tidy with good displays. Food to go used to have a counter where you could ask for something to be made up. Not sure what's happened. Now looks like stuff has just been dumped in there. Hot food ok but can sometimes be left on sale far too long. Good magazine section has now gone. Excellent wine selection with some chilled, some offers can be good value.

Nipped in here for some wine & garlic mayonnaise whilst waiting for take-away food from the nearby pizza & fish and chip shops.
I had to ask about stock as I couldn't find any garlic mayo, the lady I asked disappeared into the store room & emerged in less than a minute with their last jar - result.

Great options although a bit pricey in comparison to other shops which I won't mention... Still great selection of items...
