Love this store. Providing great service to the community, however transient. Long opening hours, great range. Don't walk past the generous bags of fruit/veg on the way in without picking one up. If you're fortunate to arrive on a bread pudding day, it is superb. If you're puffed out/lack imagination but don't want to go out for a meal, Gwyn's got your back with a range of tasty hearty meals, including (in the summer) a variety salads. Keeping a place like this going requires significant passion. Chwarae teg.

Just arrived in solva, got nothing for supper, so we popped up to this shop and bought a takeout sausage casserole plus coleslaw and tomato salad. Really excellent, decent price, friendly and efficient service! Perfect!

Popped in today for a few items and was really impressed with the shop. The fresh items we bought were top quality and stocked everything else we needed. The ladies serving were lovely and had a lovely chat with them. That's why I love shopping at these lovely stores. xxx

What a gem! The outside is very unassuming, currently lots of plants on sale. Inside is an Aladin's cave of treats. Absolutely everything you could need, all your store cupboard essentials, plus a fabulous selection of fruit and vegetables, local and exotic, local meats, fresh Solva crab, oysters, homemade sandwiches (including crab) plus freshly baked bread and pastries, we loved the bacon and cheese pastry, and liked the look of the sausage and hash brown ones!
There is a fresh milk dispenser outside, we also had a banoffee milkshake, might try hobnob flavour next!

Remarkably well stocked for its size. Good range of fruit and vegetables, bread, pastries, plants, stationery, ready made dishes, ales, etc. Oh, and fresh dressed crab. Lovely people, too.
Now has a machine selling excellent milk from a local farm. One litre glass bottles available or bring your own.

What a great and well stocked store! If in the South Pembrokeshire area you could do a lot worse than stock up here. Fresh bakery items, sausages, bacon, fresh dressed crab and oysters etc etc
