SPAR - Tonypandy

Very over priced items, very cramped isles even when there is no one else in there, staff watch you go around the shop making you feel uneasy and they are also grumpy and don't talk at all apart from sometimes when they are telling you the price of you shopping, or they just wait for you to give them the money expecting you to know how much it comes too all together. Needs more friendly staff and customer service and needs to lower the prices on some items and they are ripping people off.

Often given the wrong change. Prices of some items are stupid. Good for booze and fags though

Most unfriendliest staff (and owner) I have ever seen in the UK. They never say Hello, thank you or anything else. Also they make you feel very unwelcome as soon as you are in the store. I went in there a few times, just to see if they maybe had a bad day, but they have been like that everytime. The prices are also very overpriced. I will defenitly spend not one cent in there anymore!

My experience was. They did not care if I was in the shop or not, as long as they had some of my money. Also . I thought their products were more expensive than other small supermarkets Not a good experience with this shop sorry to say.

This shop has such happy smiley staff who politely great you and make you feel at ease as soon as you enter the door, you can tell how organised and well stocked the shop is for everything you need for self catering. Fresh bread, fresh fruit, veg, salad, Meats and cheap spirits. From time to time I see a friendly lovely young chap whom manages the store itself, very well presented you can see the compassion always making sure everything is up to date and stocked up for the customers to be leaving the shop satisfied and with everything they came there for. More spars like this please!

Staff are so lovely. A couple of members of staff always strike up a conversation and really easy to get on with. Jade feels like she’s become a friend with how friendly she is.
Only downside is that everything is a little over priced and the shop will stock certain items for a while but then stop stocking them. Inconsistency is the only reason I’m giving 4*, 5* for Jade and the other embers of staff.

Super expensive, I didn’t realise until I went in and got 2 redbulls and 2 cokes how expensive it was compared to other shops!
