Premier - T.R. Convenience Store

Very rude staff member. Asked for a certain pair of scratch cards and staff member mistakenly tore off ones I hadn't asked for which I alerted him to. To which I received, in front of other customers, him telling me it was my fault and once cards were removed couldn't be changed. So instead of doing the normal decent thing by taking responsibility for his own mistake, absorbing the cost of the unwanted cards and giving me the ones I actually asked for. He outright denied his own mistake making me out to be dishonest, was rude, blamed me for the mistake which I couldn't possibly have done myself and forced me to pay the money for something i hadn't done, asked for or wanted as well as humiliating me and talking to me like dirt in front of others. As these stores are independently owned there is no head office to go to about issues like this which is likely why they can and will do these things while knowing there are no repercussions to worry about. I find this behaviour disgusting and if it weren't for the fact that the cards don't cost a great deal i would be going further with this out of principle. I will add that when I said the card number I wanted I even had my finger on the number, looking directly at it so in other words it was pretty impossible that I stared at and had my finger on a particular number but saying a completely different one. His mistake of getting the wrong cards was an honest one and it happens, I had no problem with that. it's about how I was treated because I naturally didn't want to pay for his mistake and shouldn't have to nor suffer the way he spoke to me. So this is a heads up for others going to this store.

My husband has been going there years the manager is fine but another man there is arrogant, rude is never able to help if we need help as he doesn't understand anything but has no issues speaking perfectly fine English when he wants to argue when asked a simple question. Wont be going there anymore
