I had to get a quick present (bottle of wine) I had no idea how big this store was. It was quite big, quite stocked as well. Seemed quite clean. However there was no sanitizer to clean your hands with when entering or exiting at least it wasnt obvious, because I missed it if there was some there and I did look! which I found somewhat annoying. But other than that, it was a pleasant trip

I really can't be bothered to rate the coop food store, but, the manager or assistant manager in there has been super helpful to me today and in the past. Respect to the front line grocery shop workers! Thank you

Some good bargains, but also many items are pricey too!
Top class staff/service every time

Decent selection of vegan stuff that I’ve struggled to find since moving out here. Really glad to have found this shop! Too pricey for everyday shopping but great for bits and bobs now and then :)

Went to the Nelson Co-op at a quiet time. Plenty of parking, however the shop was let down by the fact that the dates on the fresh food products didn't have much of a "Use By" date on them. The shop is more spacious than my local Co-op so quite good for Social Distancing.

This store is great, plenty of choice, really good quality produce and loads of space to feel comfortable shopping at the moment. It's not local to us but we enjoy calling in here. It also has a rest room which is very handy. You can always rely on the Co-op.

Good parking when its dry. A lake with heavy rain. Most staff are good and I thank everyone of them working to help us at this time. THANK YOU. Reason why 4 star not 5. Check receipts theres an issue with co-op when the offers have ended, but the offer price is on the shelf and you don't notice till you get home, check reciept, and find out you've been charged full price for the item that was on offer, usually i get told its because the offer ended that day, but the shelf still has the offer on it. If your lucky enough to return and the shelf still hasn't been amended and is still showing offer price, you'll get refund. If they notice it before you return it, then it's harder, as they'll say it's your mistake (depending on who serves you.) I've had difficult moments that made me feel I was trying to trick them when that's not the case. You just want what was advertised or a refund. It can be bad wasting petrol, queueing for ages and then made to feel bad for something that's not your fault. But as I say, it depends on the person serving you, most of them are great and amends it straight away. I recently bought a smoothie that was advertised £2 and was charged £3.70 luckily I always check receipt as I shop there often and I hadn't left nelson so I returned product and it was still advertised for £2 and i could get a refund no problem. So just check receipts and itll all be good. And this isn't just about this store it's a common co-op problem it's just bigger stores have more items to change so it takes longer to amend and some get through the cracks I suppose, but I don't really know why it happens so much. In any case this is a long review explaining why they don't have 5 stars. Plus the reduced items with orange price stickers can easily be missed, so keep an eye on that.

Went here to pick up a John Lewis click and collect order, after 30 minutes in store waiting for my item , told several times it would be with me in two minutes, I was told they would not give it to me as they couldn't scan it on their system.
It was obvious the staff didn't know how to use the scanner , the Duty Manager seemed very confused and didn't look comfortable using it and the scanner was saying the item had been cancelled , someone had clicked cancel instead of order collected.
Co-op were blaming John Lewis , my order tracking still says ready to collect so JL haven't cancelled the order.
