Good conveyancer who have now dealt with 3 purchases of properties for me. They've been pretty efficient, not much need to Chase them up, and have updated me on progress of the purchases. Normally I deal with Ashleigh and she has a very professional and informative approach. Will be using them again for sure!

Utterly shocking. If I could give zero stars I would. Our buyers are using these so called solicitors. Absolutely useless in getting back to my solicitors. We have had to delay exchange twice due to no responses on dates they were first to propose!! They then deny ever sending the email that proposed the exchange & completion dates!
I will be very surprised if our house move even happens at this stage. SAVE THE STRESS & AVOID AT ALL COSTS.. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OFFERS ON YOUR PROPERTY TO ANYONE USING THESE PEOPLE.

SELLERS BEWARE OF ACCEPTING OFFERS WHERE KEY ARE APPOINTED - I would absolutely not accept an offer on your property if Key Conveyancing are the buyers solicitors. They are slow, do not respond (or lie when they do) and add untold stress to the whole process. I am trying to sell my flat to a buyer using Key who were advising the estate agent they were ready to exchange when they hadn't even raised enquiries. Were constantly assured they knew the development so they didn't need to raise enquiries but after chasing were told they'd raised 22 enquiries! All after we'd advised higher up the chain we were ready to exchange over a month ago.
Even once the enquiries were resolved they lied to the estate agent and advised they were in a position to exchange when they hadn't even contacted our solicitors! It seems they won't do the work required to get to exchange, despite knowing that this will result in a no sale for their client. Can't get any updates, can't update the chain - they just don't respond or lie to the estate agent when they do - if the chain collapses basically everyone loses money due to the unprofessionalism of this firm. I'll be reporting them to the SRA.

Paul and Casey are absolute lifesavers. Key Conveyancing took over my case from my previous conveyancers, who were terrible communicators and caused what should have been a simple purchase to drag on for six months with no end in sight.

The difference with Key Conveyancing was wonderful; I only had to email with a question and I'd receive a reply that day, sometimes within minutes. Having a direct phone number for the case handler is also a godsend, after the hours I used to spend on hold trying to get through to anyone at my previous firm.

Absolutely worth the money and the risk of instructing new conveyancers mid-process; they took things over and were incredibly efficient in moving us to a completion date.

We had the misfortune of using Key Conveyancing Solicitors recently when trying to purchase our first home. They were recommended to us by our developer and we really regret selecting them. Their communication was non-existent and their service was poor.

We sent them a number of emails querying issues which they didn’t respond to. When I spoke to our case handler (the most senior person we were able to speak to) on the phone, she often sounded disinterested. We had a number of concerns about restrictive covenants to which we were told “they’re pretty standard...”. We wanted to organise a meeting with them to go through these covenants in detail and to understand how they would apply, we did not receive a response to this request.

They have ruined our first house purchasing experience completely. We have told the developer that we will not be able to proceed with Key Conveyancing as our solicitors and have since instructed a new solicitor to act on our behalf.

I wouldn’t recommend Key Conveyancing. After two weeks we realised that we couldn’t work with them, I honestly wish we’d never approached them.

If your developer recommends them, please stay well clear! They will only cause you weeks of pain, silence and confusion.

The money you save using an appalling solicitors like this, you'll end up having to pay in time, stress and additional fees for their lack of efficiency and mistakes. Failing to provide evidence of so called negotiating that has ended up taking so long that I am now having to pay for stamp duty. If you want to spend months chasing everything up, contacting everyone that you're paying them to contact, hurrying them along and being left in the dark then these solicitors are your go to. Wish I had used Wood fines again. Do not make the same mistake that we have.
