In summary, our visit to All Hallows Farmhouse was a truly unique, enjoyable and worthwhile experience, that I would wholeheartedly recommend, to the most seasoned Aga users or novices alike.

Having my lifelong dream of owing an Aga come to fruition last year, my husband bought me a cookery class experience as a Christmas present, We were also fortunate to be able to stay for two nights over this period so we could make a weekend away around my cookery class. From booking the voucher, through making arrangements for a suitable date (which had to be rearranged due to sickness ), to actually arriving at All Hallows on the day, Lisa's (and her husband Stuart's) engagement with us was persistently informative, warm and welcoming.
Our room at All Hallows was in keeping with the period of the Farmhouse, with a sumptuous bed, spacious bathroom and beautiful views from the period window. Peaceful surroundings and the best homemade breakfast we have had, gave us exactly the restful weekend we needed.
The cookery school is set in a large period kitchen with pine tables at the centre and the Aga at the hub. Mixed perfectly with culinary 'modcons' to enhance cooking experience for the present day cook.
With GF dietary requirements, Lisa was meticulous and accommodating in ensuring my dietary requirements were met, creating a variety of bespoke savoury and sweet recipes that met these needs, while also neatly demonstrating the various methods of Aga cooking that the class promised to offer. Putting me at complete ease during her teaching, and involving me at every stage to the level I wished to engage, I very much felt I was cooking with a friend.
The attention to detail of the aftercare from Lisa was equally impressive and thoughtful, with her providing electronic versions of the recipes she had created for me and an 'open-door' invitation to reach back to her for advice and shared experiences of my triumphs, or less successful (of which there have been a few) cooking endeavours, which I have done on several occasions since my cooking class. I have absolutely gained an increased knowledge and appreciation of the nuances of Aga cooking, but also feel I have very much gained access to a unique resource of advice, likemindedness and friendship. A must for Aga owners that wish to improve their skill.

We had fantastic day here learning so much about our Aga (even though we had been cooking on one for 20 years). We came home with a car full of food, having learn loads and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A real gem.

We felt welcomed and very well looked after. Lisa's attention to the
small details did not go unnoticed. Such as; tray of tea with extra hot water, fresh milk and delicious homemade biscuits/rhubarb & almond financiers as a pre breakfast wake up call, homemade cake at teatime, lovely and extensive array of toiletries in bathroom, local seasonal produce at breakfast plus home preserves etc. etc. She even offered (at just the right time she magically appeared!) to take photographs of us in our fancy dress regalia before going off to a family party near by!
We shall definitely be returning: some of us to get involved at All Hallows Farmhouse Cookery School to hone our AGA skills others to relax and explore the lovely Dorset surroundings.

My mother and I took a full-day cooking class and had a truly wonderful time. We made lunch, which we ate in the lovely Breakfast Room. Then learned how to prepare a proper English roast with dessert. Everything was delicious, and Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable and made everything very accessible and fun. Can't wait to return and take another class and hopefully have the chance to stay for few days next time. The kitchen is every home chef's dream, and the house itself is a perfect Dorset country home,

My mother and I had a wonderful weekend staying at All Hallows Farmhouse. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were immediately whisked into the beautiful guest's sitting room where tea and scones awaited! We also enjoyed delicious breakfasts, thanks to Lisa's fantastic cooking and the top-quality local ingredients. Our bedrooms were so comfortable, elegant and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Touches such as the vases of home-grown flowers and a tray of tea and biscuits left outside our rooms first thing in the morning, ensured this was the best bed and breakfast experience I can remember! I spent Saturday taking part in an Aga introductory day which proved to be both great fun and really informative. I came home feeling refreshed and excited to get cooking and try out all my new skills! I can't recommend All Hallows enough - both the bed and breakfast and the Cookery School. And I can't thank our hosts enough, either!
