The food service was not effective. The Indian outlet failed on a number of occasions to provide warm food. They would put hot food onto ice cold plates. One of our group had no food arrive and had to get a refund. The bar staff didn't seem very experienced. They were not able to understand what an appletizer was. The food was generally expensive and the portions were tiny. It is a typical genericly gentrified outlet that is not worth visiting. It is a real shame. This is an opportunity wasted.

DO NOT SIGN UP TO THE HOZAR PARKING at The Glass Yard! The parking is free for 2 hours but if you stay longer then you need to sign up to the Hozah Parking website (no pay machines on site!). They steel you account details and personal information and the only way to cancel your account is by emailing the company and they don't reply. There's no pay machines on the site so you have to trust them with your bank details if you want to stay longer. Very annoyed I signed up to this website so my advice is stay no longer than two hours and don't sign up to the Hozah Parking.

Think Cutlery Works or Kommune in Sheffield, finally Chesterfield has its own version. Multiple f and b outlets surround a communal seating area so everyone in your group can try something different if they choose. It’s a cashless operation and being able to order from your phone is a benefit but not a necessity. The staff at each outlet are happy to help.

We’ve been 4/5 times now, I’ve taken my children and the dog. I’ve had delicious Portuguese tapas style dishes, a tasty panini, some fast food nibbles and a delightful milkshake. The kids loved the gelato obviously!

A very welcome addition to Chesterfield and great for Whittington Moor. Can we have another one in town please.

Was excited to try this, we love cutlery works in Sheffield! It’s such a great idea and the staff were lovely but the lack of vegan options (apart from dessert) was a massive let down.

Today was my second visit and I’ll definitely be going back again. The staff have always been very friendly and happy to help. There was a delay with our order but the waiting staff were very apologetic and kept us updated, they also arrange for a free drink. Things like this happen it’s all about how it’s dealt with and they were great.
Over my two visits I’ve tried a panini, cake and the tapas and all the food has been lovely.
The parking is a little confusing but unless your stay is going to exceeds 2 hours (1 and a half on match days) then it’s not an issue.
It’s a great addition to the area.

Very stressful. First you have to work out how the parking works. Mobile phone needed. Then on entering the batch house had to ask someone working on what I think was a pizza stall. He told us you have to scan a table and that brings up the menus. Mobile phone needed again. . It only brings up names of food no illustration. So you got to no what the food is.
I noticed 2 young girls overing around but looked as lost as we did. Tried to work out what to have but found the hole thing to stressful and left with not so much as ordering a drink. Mobile phone needed again.
Very basic venue and needs a lot doing on it to bring it up to a user friendly experience. don’t go if you have not got a smart phone. you’re going to starve.

Yours very disappointed.

After being to Cultery works & Kommune in Sheffield many times I had high ish hopes for this style of dining. Firstly I'm vegan, and if you are vegan and don't want a (rubbish frozen quorn burger or a vegan pizza then don't come here)
Unfortunately it just lacks everything the other places have.
Each place in the other ones mentioned are owned independently so they know what ingredients are in everything, you can change things on the menu more freely and everything made fresh. Here staff move from one "street food vendor" to another to do the orders.
The burger place is marketed well, but standard kebab quality beef burger etc. Yeah the buns look better but it lacks anything worth the price tag. When you compare burgers from Fat hippo in Kommune there is 0 comparison.
We had some tapas, that was fine for frozen food.
And the beers arrived swiftly from the bar but with 0 smile or one word said by the server.
Won't bother again anytime soon unfortunately and it's just on my door step.

Food was Very good, ONCE we'd sorted it ! But served at different time - so wife had finished before mine was served !!
Also had to go to 5 different counters/bars to order the meal.
Parking system sounds horrendous - 2hrs free, but then register and pay by 'phone !! Hard for us oldies - even if YOUR 'phone connects. Looking round and choosing food is marred by worrying about running out of time !
