My wedding coordinator informed me at 3.30pm that the thrones hadn't been delivered and despite numerous phones calls she hadn't been able to speak to them, i also tried to ring them and left a message, we pushed the meal back to 4pm to give them extra time however just before 4pm they finally rang my coordinator back to say there had been a mix up and tell me not to worry they would definitely be on site with the dance floor and selfie mirror at the agreed time of 6pm.
I didn't want to see the room being turned around, so waited until 6.45pm to go in because we wanted to see it before our guests.....we walked into chaos! The floor was only half down and the guy laying it was face timing someone from Fun Leisure because it was not only having trouble laying the floor but the battery pack was also faulty (you can see the reason why on the pic) so it would not light up, my DJ was also helping him inbetween setting himself up!! (Highly recommend Dj Ian-entertainments they also supply LED floors and i wish i hadn't booked and paid for Fun Leisure before booking the DJ) Again we had to push timings back, because taking the floor back up would've been too time consuming and at 7.20pm if was getting busy and we had a lot of guest waiting around, so we opened the doors and instead of them being greated with a twinkling dance floor they where greeted with wet floors signs (the floor was extremely dirty and our coordinator had to mop it) and the edging was still being layed!! The props from the selfie mirror had to continuously be re inflated and the following day we discovered my partners name had been spelt incorrectly!!
If that was my company and i had made those errors i would've emailed/phoned the next day with an apology, however they didn't and knowing our Honeymoon was on the Monday i emailed them on the Sunday eve to voice my disgust.
E-mails went to & fro between me & the Manager and he agreed to refund £675 for the thrones and floors but wouldn't give anything for the selfie mirror because apparently i was supposed to have filled a form in as per my contract with our details.......i never received a form and had given our details via email & on the phone, i have asked them to show me where my contract states about the form and i'm yet to hear back from them, the apparent reason behind the thrones was, i hadn't told them what time to deliver them and apparently the floor is always dirty on arrival and once down it's mopped......my wedding coordinator had told them the delivery time, so didn't see the point in repeating! With this in mind, you would think if they didn't know the time & i hadn't filled a form in they would've contacted me before the day! The reason they didn't contact me was because they had this information......they obviously just tried to pass the buck!
4 days past and i hadn't received a refund, so spent more of my time chasing them, i finally received it and it was only £535 so again more chasing and me digging about for my old emails, the Manager admitted he'd not looked at my booking and seen we had had discount.
I pointed out that after the catalogue of errors you'd think he would've given the £675 for a gesture of good will & apology but no, their priority seems to be money over customer service.
I'd leave a review on their page however they don't have the option to.......which to me speaks volumes!! Surely you would want potential customers to see reviews?!?
