And boy they are all of that! The car was delivered to my address, my brother and received the car and it was beautiful. The delivery driver was amazing and explained everything there was to explain about the car, after checking my IDs.
I cannot overstate the positive experience me and brother had from Cazoo, my wife intends to buy a car and now she will definitely get it from Cazoo. My neighbours saw the Cazoo van and asked me about the experience with them which was amazing of course.
This company is the best for people who have little experience in buying cars or have very little knowledge in what to look for when buying a used car. The fact that the company provides a 7 day money back guarantee and still people never return their cars is amazing!
The peace of mind one has from buying a car from Cazoo cannot be described in one single Google review. The customer service people are also absolutely amazing and keep ringing you that first day just to check on you and see if you are happy with the Cazoo.
If I could give you guys 6 stars I certainly would as you deserve it. With your professionalism and service you have made a life long customer out of my brother, my wife and myself. I will never again go to a showroom to look for a used car, I will always go on Cazoo's website and just have the car delivered because I know there is nothing to worry and no need to fear. Money well spent!
Furthermore, the car bore the distinct odour of old cigarette smoke, that a good car valeter was fortunately able to remove after properly cleaning the interior (the seats and carpets were also very dirty) and treatment with an ozone machine. Cazoo claim on their website also to carry out this process but clearly do not.
A service (allegedly) carried out by the company was recorded with nothing more than a scrap of paper that looked like someone had knocked it up in 2 minutes with Microsoft word. The car's service history record was NOT updated, leaving me without the promised "full service history". I have had the service carried out elsewhere to avoid further damaging the value of the vehicle.
Think carefully before buying here, as corners are very clearly being cut. Any saving vs buying from an established dealer will quickly be lost by having corrective work carried out.
Google etc. do not offer the "curated" review service that companies like Trust Pilot do, and I think paint a better picture of the customer experience found here. A recent Watchdog episode is worrying also.
I would not buy from Cazoo again, and would not recommend them.
So, I bought Peugeot 308 GT from Cazoo for my partner, this car was going to be her main means of travel to and from her extremely stressful and emotionally difficult job being a cancer support nurse However 2 months in I did a inspection of the car, fluids, tyres extra and noticed that the timing belt is absolutely on its last legs due to clear splitting. upon noticing this I sent Cazoo a email with the Images attached and they swiftly booked the car into a local garage! No surprise there as it was still under warranty. Fast forward 2 days after the garage revived the car, I was told the car is ready for collection and that nothing would be done due to Cazoos rejection of the request to repair as seen in the picture, even though the garage said this belt is bad and definitely needed replacing. Now to think that’s unacceptable they being cazoo then told me that I couldn’t even extend my warranty to cover the timing belt due to this pre existing problem!? So excusing the money side of this expensive problem, the shameful part is that my partner is a nurse working with cancer patients daily predominantly administering chemotherapy and also giving end of life care, she’s a giving and caring person who’s been forced to now travel by bus to and from work due to Cazoo failing to fess up and take responsibility for what they sell. disgusting and unacceptable.
Was happy with the quote given and was apprehensive that someone would come out and lower the rate but this wasnt the case! He checked it and was happy with it all , checked documents and took a picture of me infront of car. Then the confirmation was sent and literally within 1 minute the money was in my account.
What a great experience! Will definitely use in the future again. 5 Star!
I purchased a Ford from Cazoo in September 2021 and I am one very Happy customer of Cazoo. I am writing my experience so other prospect buyer can understand the difference between normal and extraordinary customer service.
1. Car selection - I found the car I was looking for, with the spec I wanted quickly on Cazoo website. The description was concise and clear with no non-sense and irrelevant facts. There were more than 20 images of high resolution images with 360 degree view which was very helpful.
2. Car delivery - I had a minor hiccup there as car got delivered 2 hours late due to internal communication error however I was compensated in a great manner which clearly shows that customer loyalty comes first and company's interest later, superb effort. The car came with goodies such as air fresher (never had this good air freshener before) and a good quality umbrella (very thoughtful and smart approach by the company). The car was delivered in extremely clean and polished condition. The car was looking brand new, after being 3 years old.
3. Customer Service - Although I was bit off initially as I dealt with different people each time I called and one of the agent was not much helping. However, as I got along, I noticed that all customer service have some database that allowed them to understand my history of communication in no time so it was quick for them to assist me. I spoke to around 7-8 agents during my transaction but all of them were extremely helpful except one.
4. After sale service - This is not my first used car transaction but third so clearly I experienced exceptional after sale service which I never got before and I always dealt with reputed names before and not local garages. And those big names do not care once you have bought the car. At Cazoo, the after sale service team was extremely helpful and made sure any issues with the car is dealt with. I had few minor issues that you would notice in any used car but anything material was dealt with quickly and resolved. The staff was empathetic and you could feel that they want to make sure the customer should be happy.
5. Courtesy - I have not seen such courtesy before. I liked the air freshener and asked Cazoo if they can sell some more to me. They sent me handful of them in post as a small gift. That was extremely impressive!
6. Thinking about customer - I received recently a greeting car with a gift card (can be used with Cazoo only, FYI) which I found impressive.
The company has great future in this sector and soon will capture UK used car market. My best wishes.
I wish to receive the same customer service for the years to come with my current car and if that goes as good as last few months, I will be happy to purchase my next car from Cazoo.
