I hope everyone's safety was assured by throwing away my 20 ml of contact lense saline solution. I've traveled to some beautiful countries... Maybe next time I'll be able to SEE them.

DO NOT GO THERE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Just don't. You won't get past reception and everything you need to know is on the internet.

Easy access, ample parking. Parking charges for short stay acceptable comparing to Heathrow and Stansted which are far too expensive. Staff very helpful when you need help. Directions walking to terminals good. The turning corners from floor to floor when driving car and looking for car park space are very narrow so be careful and drive slow.

I had to deal with the Licensing Department for a number of issues regarding my license. Customer Service is extremely efficient, polite and fast. So thankful to have them to support and answer so well all my enqueries. *****

The Flight Crew Licencing Department can only be considered criminally negligent at this point in time. I returned to the U.K. and had to transition back to a CAA licence. They never kept me updated on the progress of this transition, and when it was finally dealt with, they then informed me that the examiner I had flown with could not legally have performed the flight.

This is while he was holding the position of Chief Flight Instructor with a U.K. flight training organisation.

When I threatened legal action, my licence appeared without any cover letter or reason for their change of mind.

Now, I’ve been held up on an application because they claim I don’t have the hours required for the new rating. If that’s the case then I can’t legally hold the licence they issued me with in the first place.

Unfortunately they are the only game in town.

On the other side, the medical team are warm and friendly and will do what they can to help out.
