I’ve bought 4 cars from this garage and any issues I’ve had which have been minor have been rectified promptly. 1st class service. Would recommend this car dealer to anyone far better than any others I have used in the past. Can only assume the negatives left are fictitious based on my experience

I have used The Car Lot a number of times and found them very helpful. I went to see Pete at the Tamworth Office and told him what type of car i was looking for, and how much i was looking to spend. He found exactly the car i wanted in less than a week. He saved me loads of time looking around at cars. They even saved me £500 from the budget i originally told them.. great service and keep up the good work!!

I have a distrust of car sales places, so when something went wrong with our car I feared the worst. Pete fixed the problem without charge or fuss, he seemed very eager to make sure we were happy. He even helped us out when we put the wrong fuel in. We have had absolutely no problems with the car since.

I'm definitely going back for my next car. It's great to find someone whose main concern is the satisfaction of his customers!

Bought a classic car online of the car lot , was advertised as running well with a warranty , we paid over the odds at 2 and a half thousand as car had previously been in our family and we wanted it back for sentimental reasons . When the car was dellivered it was pushed of the of the truck and I was told not to bother trying to start it , same as the previous lady I was handed a piece of paper which was ticked sold as spares and repair , have tried to contact on numerous occasion to solve this issue and have been fobbed of with excuses like on holiday and need will get back to you when I've spoken to my machanic , this has really upset me as car still won't run. I'd advise anybody buying a car buying from this trader to have an independent inspection done before parting with cash or deposit.
As to your reply, I have the receipt here in my partners name but the car was bought through my eBay account with several conversations that I have saved copies of . It's not like I accidentally clicked your car lot by mistake not exactly local oldham and Tamworth so no my message was definitely meant for you

Pete Collins and his mechanic, Zoltan, have run us a wild goose chase for the last month and will now not take our calls. He sold us a Mondeo for £1095 as a working car, "but I have to put 'spares or repairs' on the receipt as the new laws mean I would have to give you 6 months warranty otherwise, and I cannot afford that on such a cheap car". We were niave enough to believe him. Within 24 hours of collecting the car it started playing up. We wanted to take it back for a refund but Pete pursuaded us his mechanic would fix it. This happened 3 times and each time it was OK for a few days then played up again. Now the month is up and he is never available to talk to us. He is a crook and I would advise you to never buy a car from him!

I bought a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid from this trader, at a massively reduced price, about half what the average selling price similar hybrids are going for. It was fairly advertised with an HPI report. Deal done and they drove the car from Tamworth to Bristol literally next day. The car is absolutely brilliant for what I would call pocket money. OK, all the warning lights kept coming on and off, but a half hour diagnostic at my local garage and all is fine. Turned out at some point the car had been jump started and it threw an error message to the ECU. I bought the car from just pictures and must say I am pleased with the car and the service provided.
It really is worth listening to the sellers advice, terms of sale and the amount you are paying. I paid £1495 for my hybrid as a cat d (Im not afraid of cat d insurance write offs, as its to do more with insurers saving money than it is with the damage on the car) I have done nearly 1000 miles in my Civic, and must say I love it, £10 a year tax, 40 plus to the gallon around town. The previous owner scoured the paintwork but with some claying the bodywork is fine for a 13 year old car. The leather interior is superb. And much as the alloys were tarnished I picked up a brand new set of civic hybrid alloys with dunlop tyres from a Honda dealership for just £180. I couldn't be happier and this is genuine review of the car lot. Happy Puppy!

I purchased a 2011 corsa from here & found the car lot owner & staff much more helpful than previous main dealer service / repairs! Purchased during covid 10mths before son passed test so had little use. Once past test ther were a couple of issues which wanted sorting which they done outside warranty... one free & the other at a very low rate which I were more than happy to pay. I would recommend this dealer to any1!
