Mainly for boots staff but great canteen and lovely staff

Brilliant facilities, and a good environment for business.

Its a place of work, so not really open to the public.

It's a lovely place with lovely people. Worth a visit. Could benefit from a swimming pool though

Came here for breakfast in the canteen in October 2002. My toast was burnt...

There's a ladies and gents toilet. There's an overpriced vending machine that occasionally works and is less frequently serviced. There's some tables and chairs. There's one microwave to be shared amongst all those staff on the boots site who have no where else to spend their break time. The heating was on full blast in the summer including those days when it was 40 degrees outside. Unbelievable, unbearable and unusable during the 2022 heatwave. The heating has been switched off for winter 22-23. Bizarre, unwelcome and completely forgotten about by Boots Facilities management. Hot food service was shut down during covid in 2020 and has never re-opened. Staff who are more or less forced to use this facility as shelter during their work break time have been let down badly by the owner - operators. The forgotten gather here due to lack of alternatives. Boots main canteen building, once the lively hub of the site, was decommissioned years ago. When boots it's sold and the site is sold this unwelcoming waste of space will be demolished. Good. Some staff who can afford a car, on the wages paid on this site, prefer to spend their break time in the car park. That says it all and is actually a better review of this building than mine. Shocking.
