When we needed a costume for World Book Day at short notice after the one ordered online cancelled on us, we were able to find one here. Only downside is that they only take cash so we had to travel to find a cash machine.

We needed to buy a number of children's wizard robes, in various sizes, for a re-enactment of scenes from "Harry Potter". The proprietor was really helpful in suggesting which styles would best suit our needs and then making sure that they arrived on time. We will definitely buy from him again.

Cash only. No changing rooms but could take things out of the packet and hold it against you. Not as big a selection out front. More suited to mail order. But found what we wanted.

Ordered 2 costumes for a history day at school. Took a while to dispatch and then when the parcel arrived only one costume was in it. Rang to try and get it sorted asap and experienced some of the worst customer service ever. By phone and email they basically insinuated that I was lying. I'd signed for a parcel so therefore I had both items. Told them if they felt that they could check the parcel weight surely only to be told they don't weigh parcels and just have a flat rate with Royal Mail. They send thousands of parcels no problem and how do they know I'm telling the truth, etc. They were very rude and said I'd have to wait while they investigated. I put a claim in with PayPal in the meantime (didn't have much confidence with the way I'd been spoken to) and ordered the missing one from elsewhere (cheaper too). After the weekend I got an email to say they'd stock checked and found the missing costume in the warehouse so would refund me after all. They weren't apologetic for how they'd dealt with it and my refund conveniently didn't include the fee they'd charged me for paying via PayPal. Doubt I'd have got the refund if I hadn't paid via PayPal either. UPDATE: In response to the owner comment that this is a fake review, it is definitely not, I ordered 21/09/18 and have all the order and email correspondence evidence. The only thing fake are the claims from this company that every bad review isn't from a genuine customer. The lovely owner response is indicative of the level of customer service you get when dealing with them.

Awful seller. Bought a faulty item and they refused to refund it. Now going through small claims court. Avoid at all costs

I offered to still accept the damage and keep it. But when I found another fault with the actual mechanism of the bb gun I decided to return it after being offered an insulting partial refund.

Not Very helpful. I weigh 284.34Lbs and nothing fit me. Going Mcdonalds now to get 3 big macs with large fries.

Very unhelpful staff - not much by way of costumes to view - asked if they had a long black cloak as he wanted specific - he said no they only have one child's pink cloak. Asked if they had platform boots for a man - again no they only had one pair of white ladies boots!! Totally pathetic - not worth other ingredients- give it a miss!

Website looks like it's a bright shop but it's quite dark. Person there tells you to look on the website. The websites not that helpful
