Beautiful stone building with stunning views from the balcony in the bedroom and the patio which has a hot tub positioned perfectly for soaking up the views while relaxing. Inside is decorated to a high standard, gracefully mixing old and new. The wood burning fire is a very welcome touch during these cooler months, in all its very romantic and cosy.

I can not get over how well stocked with crockery, utensils and other kitchen gadgets this cottage is, there is absolutely everything we may have needed and possibly more.

The there are the extras that we would never have expected, a little milk in the fridge, a loaf in the bread bin, some cereal and jams in the cupboards, tea, coffee and sugar, and much to my hubbys delight a lovely little carrot and walnut cake from the local bakery.

Sam, who owns the cottage is such a kind and lovely lady, greeted us as we arrived, gave us a tour and told us some of the cottages history and advised us about places of local interest and some of the best places to dine.

The Croft is an absolute gem, treat yourself, you will not regret it.

Lovely secluded cottage, superb views and very cosy log fire. Perfectly situated to explore the Pendle region. Best of all, your nearest neighbours are a pair of very friendly sheep who like to come say hello when you're in the garden.

(Note: the track up to the cottage is a rutted, bumpy farm track not a sweeping tarmac driveway. Probably best not to bring your Ferrari, or absurdly lowered Citroën Saxo.)

Wonderful place. Had fun with the sheep that we were allowed to feed. The place was perfect. Clean clean clean. Pristine. Loved it.
