West Barn Holiday Cottage Cotswolds

Very tastefully fitted out cottage. High quality utensils. Everything you would need for a memorable stay. The bed in the en-suite room was beautifully comfortable. And the "welcome pack" superb. Homemade bread, lemon drizzle cake and jam. Eggs, milk, butter and fruit juice. Coffee pods, dishwasher tabs, wonderful attention to detail. 3 large boxes of DVDs and a sideboard stacked with games. Highly recommended.

We wish we could give this place more than 5 stars. This is the best holiday home we have stayed in. It is a special gem in the beautiful Cotswolds. It is it is much bigger than it looks in the photos, luxuriously equipped and spotlessly clean. There were lots of things that made it feel very much like your own home (or better!) and if you needed something the hosts were on hand to help and very welcoming. The kids were very happy with the internet and TV package. The bedrooms are really spacious and the beds were perfect. The kids loved the big sofa bed. The kitchen is really well equipped and cooking easy. We only stayed for a couple of nights for a family meeting but would look to come back for a week in future. Overall this cottage is excellent and shows that a lot of thought has gone into producing the perfect retreat. We should mention the brilliant welcome pack, Tim’s homemade loaf and jam was great and disappeared very quickly. Plus there was plenty of local produce - so much better than a pint of milk, some teabags and a loaf of supermarket bread.

We've just returned from a magical stay at West Barn cottage. The stay was simply perfect. The hosts were welcoming and very accommodating upon arrival and then left us in peace to enjoy their beautiful, comfortable, relaxing property. The accommodation achieves a perfect balance between luxurious and highly practical, with an extremely well equipped kitchen. They've thought of everything, from the layout of the rooms through to the elegant, stylish decor. The rooms are spacious yet cosy, the location feels rural but with easy, quick access to all the attractive villages and towns in the Cotswolds. There's plenty to do locally (with lots of details provided in the handbook) but the cottage more than caters for those wishing to stay in and relax. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a Cotswolds retreat and we cannot wait to return!

Warm, modern, extremely comfortable, spacious and the owners are welcoming and kind people. A beautiful and tranquil place to stay.
