Boswell Farm Holiday Cottages

Lovely gateway place. Spent there 3 days and enjoyed a lot. Nice and quiet farm tucked away from main road allowed me to experience quietness and peace away from London. It has its own spring so I enjoyed drinking pure spring water from the tap. Linda,the owner, was exceptionally lovely lady. Very grounded and pleasant. She made me feel very welcomed. Beds are comfortable and I slept very well. Cottages are big and got all you need. The views are stunning, air is fresh and the sea is just few min drive with its beautifulc coastline and little cafes and restaurants.

Just spent two weeks at Cider Cottage with friends and family. A lovely, relaxing place . The cottage provided everything required and was so clean , spacious and comfortable.
By far the best holiday home we have ever rented in this country. The owner was very helpful , nothing too much trouble. Lovely surroundings and only 10 minutes drive away from Sidmouth Town Centre. We will definately go back and would recommend to anyone.

Stayed two nights at Boswell Farm Cottages over the May bank holiday half term and had a wonderful time. Rosie and Robert were the perfect hosts , friendly , helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. I'd recommend a stay in one of the delightful cottages any time. We're definitely booking again for a longer stay.

Spent my 'big' birthday w/e here in January soon after the new owners had taken over. Needn't have worried that their 'newness' could impact on our stay as we were quickly reassured by the lovely welcome and complementary basket of goodies. Linhay was perfect for our group of 6 + 2 dogs and was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well equipped for self-catering. Would highly recommend it and would love to return there.

Just got back from a fantastic three night stay at Boswell farm cottage. A beautiful place with exceptionally well kept clean cottages. The hosts were very friendly and the dogs were lovely too!!

This is a really difficult one. The cottage itself was great for the money we paid £440 for 3 nights, although it is very dated. However my husband had an accident due to the very poor conditions of the paths and walk ways. He is 58yrs old and generally pretty fit. The host was aware of this as she agreed we could check out late due to him not being able to help me. She also saw me help in get to the car a. Unfortunately it wasn't just a sprained ankle. He has significan soft tissue damage and 4 weeks later is still walking with the aid of a walking stick. I have tried to contact the host to enquire about liability insurance as my husband is a self employed driving instructor. He has tried to return to work but unfortunately he can not do it full time. The hosts have not responded to any of my
messages or emails and I am now engaging a solicitor, which I didn't really want to do.

Lovely accommodation, location, hosts and facilities. Such a beautiful hidden gem, peaceful and unique within easy reach of all the local amenities. We fell in love with the farm and it is now more meaningful to us as this is where my partner proposed to me! Would highly recommend Boswell Farm and the friendly hosts for your next Devon stay :-)

We had a really brilliant stay. Our Boswell Farm Cottage in East Devon was beautifully equipped, sparkling clean, in beautiful surroundings. Very close to the beach, just a few minutes from Sidmouth, and in gorgeous Devon countryside. The farm cottages are all stunning and perfect for holidays. Our whole family loved it here. This is dog-friendly holiday accommodation too. The family owners are lovely and extremely accommodating - special thanks to Rosie, Andy, and Rob. Highly recommended.
