We stayed here for 2 nights a few years ago and returned in August for 3 nights. It was not only as good as we remembered it but better. We still had the same warm welcome from Gill and the cottage was agin immaculately clean. In my last review I marked it down very slightly for being a bit dated but clearly money has been spent here. There is a lovely new kitchen and bathroom and the bedrooms have all been upgraded. To top it all there is now good Wifi and I had a phone signal as well!
As before Gill was very helpful with directions, suggestions, ideas so with her around we didn't really need Google!!
This is just a lovely, quiet escape and we highly recommend it.

Just lovely! Warm, cosy, very clean, good fixtures and fittings, quiet and so close to everything we wanted to see. It's definitely a place we would come back to for our next whisky distilleries trip. There is no Smart TV so if you are a family who relaxes at the end of an exhausting day over a good movie together, rather than play games or read books, then bring your own dvds as there is a dvd player. No Netflix, or terrestrial TV as the ad. states. The owner popped in to say hello after we had settled and is delightful. We found Gill had left a few useful food items ready for us and bathroom essentials which is so handy when airbnbs can be so different from one another. This is definitely a 5/5 place for our tastes!
