Glynderi Cottage

We booked Glynderi Cottage on AirBnB for - two nights stay and it was a really great stay. Smooth booking and hosts were informative. We ended up arriving very late (around midnight) due to the long drive from Kent.
There is a space for one car and the cottage is a sectioned off area from where the hosts actually reside. After parking behind a gated section, there is a beautiful front garden with a table and 2 chairs. On entering the cottage, albeit it is very dated but there is a comfy, cosy charm to it. If you are looking for modern, this isn’t for you. The kitchen was functional and had required items. The best place was the fire place and logs were provided so we enjoyed that a lot. There was a cupboard full of DVDs and there’s a small TV on the wall above the fireplace.

There was a book by the hosts with a lot of details of surrounding activities, local eateries which was a nice touch.

There were a lot of scary spiders around but I’m just very scared of them so that wasn’t fun for me!

We stayed at Glynderi Cottage for two nights in February 2023. The cottage is clean and comfortable and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and we especially enjoyed keeping cosy by the log burner. There is also electric heating if you don't want to light a fire. The hosts sent lots of useful information about the surrounding area and the cottage is a lovely base for exploring Brecon, the Brecon Beacons and surrounding area. I would happily visit again.
