Wharfingers Cottage

Fantastic house with a great view, very traditional but with modern finishes. Highly recommend. However the drive up to the cottage is rather narrow!!

This is a magical place to visit in the quiet of late Autumn before the Hubble and Bubble of Christmas. Private, beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you might need to enjoy this gateway to the Brecon Mountains.
Log fires, hot tub, welcome for dogs.. can’t be beaten. Alasdair and Sarah have done something wonderful here in Llanfoist.

Stayed for a week in Wharfingers Cottage. Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and extra touches such as books, games and local maps that were much appreciated. Plenty to do for a week, even in the rain! Quiet location with easy walking to local Waitrose and pubs. We hope to return soon :)

Great views, plenty of paths, a short low tunnel and 1 bench to soak up the atmosphere of relaxation. Not really for wheelchair users I think though, sorry.

A wonderful cottage in a glorious location. Rural with great walks along the canal or up the hill behind yet under half an hour's stroll into the centre of Abergavenny. I want to live there!!

We stayed in Wharfingers cottage for the weekend have to say its set in a perfect location and the cottage itself pure luxury!!! can't wait to book again
