Cannock Chase District Council

Filled my blue bag full of cardboard, and put one tiny piece in my blue bin. The bin men refused to take my blue bin!!!!
So Cannock Council guess what I had to do, that’s right empty my blue bin that was full of 100% recycling into bin bags, and take them to the tip and put them into general waste.
The people responsible for coming up with these stupid ideas have no understanding of the real would.
Cannock Council have always been poor performers, but this is just insane.

Have called several times without a response about the £150 rebate that should of been paid in April. Quick enough to want council tax from ourselves, very dissapointing.

Personally I think the manor of the staff is discusting. I was interupted numerous times whilst trying to explain the situation on the phone to a female advisor. I was miss informed about my home move that caused the monthly direct debit to increase after they had cancelled the payments and then blamed me for not keeping up with the monthly payments, I was prepared to pay for both properties until I moved but the debit was ended not at my request. They hung up on me twice and once I got through to the advisor she was raising her voice at me and seemed eager to end the call. The man I spoke to was very ill manored rasing his voice once again telling me to listen or he would hang up "your being billed, they are being billed and you haven't paid the last two months that's being added, there's nothing wrong with the annual bill your not reading it correctly; I've never heard anything like it. I was seeking advice on what had happened with the direct debit I was polite from the start. This review is in no way exaggerated, It generally is unacceptable to speak to people in this manor even with your message at the start of the call threatening to end abusive calls.

Hi. I have been trying to get my £150 from Cannock council should have been paid in April. Just received it on the 15th July after numerous calls.

Attended the Proclamation of Charles III. The backdrop was the main entrance which needed a good clean. Blue tac or sellotape on the windows not the best. The service itself was preformed well by the Chair.

I rang the Council last Thursday as our blue bin lid had been broken. The lady who answered was very helpful took details and said it would be replaced in the next 5 days. During Friday it was replaced and is now mended. I just wanted to say thank you at such prompt action and attention.

Though some say Cannock Council staff are bad they are so much better than Stafford Council staff . I cant think of a more uneducated, slow performing and bone idle staff like the Stafford Council . They're a disgrace towards mòst people. Of the councils I've known, none has been as bad as Stafford. Useless.

Whoever the woman on the phone is today has absolutely appalling customer service skills. Not only did she ignore my questions she then hung up without so much as a thank you goodbye. She was so incredibly rude hostile and unhelpful. It's clear to see why their ratings are appalling.
