Tandridge District Council have always been a fantastic support to us for which we are very grateful , not least through the covid period but also particularly the business council tax team and Mr Stuart Croft in that department is so lovely, a responsive and warm reassuring professional. Honestly one the worse council that I have ever seen to sort out my council tax it’s has taken me nearly two month and still not sorted and I have called them like 10 times, and they will make wait for a very long time it’s like they don’t need your council tax !

I was left shaking from a phonecall this morning I had with a member from the benefits team who kept speaking over me and then was rude enough to ask me “do you think you are the queen?” because I told him I didn’t have the time to call them every 5 minutes. Outraged is an understatement. Maybe if it wasn’t a matter to do with benefits I may have been treated differently! If I could give them 0 stars based upon this service I would have.

I am shocked when I called you via text relay from 10am till 1pm. it was awful by your staff name is sally, begum, chris and last person Turner who is discrimination. Council isnt follow equality human right because i am deaf and used text relay. I want to know why you put me increased payment for council tax without letter or any correspondence. two staff try to answer my question but still not clearly. advised me to speak the benefit team who is Turner. Turner refused to speak me because i am used text relay BUT I AM DEAF. i am shocked the council isnt follow up the equality human right. i have sent email but still not received your email for months months. thats why i call you but still refused to speak me because of third party. thats very clearly discrimination. you have already breach of equality for deaf customer.
I want to know WHY I PAY INCREASED COUNCIL TAX WITHOUT CORRESPONDENCE LETTER!!!

Are they a real council? Chasing 4 months.

Lazy people, wasting taxpayers money.
They DO NOT answer phone and emails at all. I don’t know why they can still work there?

One of the worst council in Surrey if not the worst , so dodge and daylight robbery, they charged alot for council tax and you see zero road maintenance, zero cleaning, even basic road safety doesn't exist, some parts of Surrey under Tandrige council have been taken care others are forgotten Which means one thing ! is corrupted!! they respond only for whoever they like to !! They don't understand we pay their wages ,they should work for us !!

Always have the same problem trying to contact TDC. You spend a long time in a telephone queue for an operator to ask the nature of your enquiry then offer to find someone to answer your query. Invariably they don't check there's anyone there to talk to you first and then transfer you to another extension that goes unanswered. These extensions take no messages then you're back to square 1. Emails don't get answered. They are basically uncontactable!
