I have just moved in to a property and have had to order new recycling boxes but have been told that if I want green bags for garden waste I will have to pay for them. As I am a new resident I don't see why I have to pay for them as I'm not asking for extra bags, just 2 to start with like every one else did when they came out.

I have been waiting for an update of my ‘ Blue Badge’ 15 working days I was initially told. A bank holiday had slowed it down I was told. Then another bank holiday!!!
Really not impressed with the service here .

Has to be the worst council in the whole of the UK. A council you CAN NOT CONTACT, if you manage to contact anyone they are not helpful but rather FULL of excuses. A terrible, terrible service.

I have just come back after spending a week in Neath and surrounding area. i must say it was a very pleasant time taking some lovely photos from knoll estate. and also Victoria park which is stunning. I would also like to commend the Gardner George who i asked for information about the church tower and he was so helpful and polite a credit to the council.

Rang to enquire about private sector leasing scheme, as a landlord.Got switched to an answer phone, demanding extension number or name. Neither did I have. Dialled main number, again and explained what had happened. Guess what, I was put through to the same answerphone. Very helpful, won't bother again am getting older, waiting

Almost impossible to contact as phone calls cut off almost immediately. Despite asking that my disabled access not be always blocked by bin men by dumping others recycling equipment against my gate it continues. Worst council of twelve that I've experienced!!

Disgraceful. Social services have many people's blood on their hands. They need to be held to account. They will be featured in the news one day, rightfully so, and only then will they do something and intervene, i.e. when it's too late. They fail suicidal vulnerable people with disabilities. They were contacted 16 times over a 3-month period, every time they promised to see what they can do and will be back in touch soon, they even sent letters to this effect. Surprise surprise, 9 months later and many phone calls to them later, they have not bothered to get in touch, not even one phone call. They should be ashamed of themselves.
