Old Hall Country Club

Great facilities, friendly staff (not the usual country club atmosphere). Not contracted when joining so if it's not for you, you won't be forking out each month for nothing. I myself will be a member for the long run, brilliant place.

Simply brilliant.. with a good gym team of personal trainers, progress tracking and stunning salad/food bar, I'm getting fitter with every visit.
Events Marquee, beautiful grounds well maintained and tennis courts plus not forgetting the outdoor heated swimming pool. More than just a Gym it's a fine life style. Sue&Dave you should be proud of your achievement.

Love the friendliness, warmth and stylishness offered by Old Hall Country Club! While the gym has fab equipment and great personal trainers - I have to confess that I delightedly spend much more time in the cool cafe (it’s also the perfect place to meet clients) and in the beautiful Spa...

So glad I joined this club 2 years ago - it is amazing !!! - great atmosphere, beautiful environment (love the outside pool), high- tech gym, friendly, helpful staff, fantastic food, the cafe is a great place to catch up with friends over coffee or lunch .

Superb club with excellent staff who are always helpful and at hand. Outdoor pool (Costa Del Bloomberg) is a lovely bonus when the mercury rises! I would thoroughly this club for both Fitness aficionados and those looking to chill out and take a break from the stresses of modern life.

I joined the gym in January and have never looked back ! great swimming pools and gym. The front of house staff are just brilliant , they always make you welcome and make you feel part of the place.

NOW CLOSED. No big surprise. I was going to re-join the new club until I saw a post from Su about how they weren't giving spa voucer refunds and tried to say that it was due to the pandemic that they had closed their spa. Completely untrue, it was just part of their plan and therefore 100% their choice. I looked into things further and discovered a world of objectionable behaviour from the owners which many were unwilling to support them for, including me.

All other gyms and spas who didn't decide to change their business model during a pandemic re-opened and continued to operate. The truth is if OH had done the same they had pleanty of loyal members supporting them.

They could have taken the opportunity to level out the memberships being paid so that there was less disparity and potentially brought in extra earnings! They have never been particularly business savvy, the place could have been so much more than it was but the staff and the members made it. Alot of people looked beyond the issues because of the community that existed, created by staff and members despite the questionable management skills of the owners and they underestimated that - so honestly, more fool them!

They deserve no success as a result of such poor decisions, the unacceptable treatment of instructors, staff and their members and no sucsess is exactly-what-they-got.

I've been a member of Old Hall over the last 17 years, but they just killed it.
Now an expensive sweat gym with no changing facilities and no indoor pool. Will only suit those of the "ironman" or 'mudder' persuasions.
