A very tranquil place to walk around with your dogs, plenty of benches for a rest if you desire to watch the world go by. In summer you can see the fish on the top of the water, fishermen catching them, or not 🙄🙄. Bins for you to put rubbish in as well as your dogs mess too. Just a beautiful place to spend walking around and taking it all in.

Just a quick walk before darkness fell. First time I'd used the car park meter as an NT member - it went smoothly.
Walked between the ponds and up the hill, then along the drive to Stainsby Mill. A brief look at the high water level in the feed to the mill and then returned, turning down towards the Welly Walk and Miller's Pond. Dusk was falling as we got back to the car.
A very good walk in lovely surroundings.

Beautiful scenery, noise from the A1 isn't too loud despite close vicinity. Was the perfect place for a late afternoon picnic with plenty of shade from the trees.

Lovely walk round bottom pond and mill ponds, 3,000 steps so not too far for a moany teenager. £4 parking for all day so would be great in summer to take a picnic as lots of picnic benches. We had a coffee from the snack bar to warm up and the toilets were open 😀 - April.
