They send the order of judgement too late to seek legal advice Custome service is absolutely appalling. They are very slow to reply to emails and they only provid 1 telephone number and email address. They provide another telephone number for payment which they take your money quickly without any questions and if you pay too much by mistake they don't want to know
I wonde if any other civilize country has such a backward legal system
In other businesses if you are not happy you go somewhere else but with British court you don't have a choice unfortunately.

Absolutely astonishing !!!! Wait times over 1 hour on the phone . This is the new Central County Court Center answering calls for South East County Courts. This is not a free service we pay court fees. Either they have no staff or staff need to get back to work.!!!

I submitted a claim and had to amend and re-serve the claim as a detail was wrong. The court received this amended version because they posted me a copy dated 28th November. They also then sent me another copy for some unknown reason a week later.

I then get a letter dated 28th January giving me permission to amend and re-serve, something I'd already done 2 months earlier. I phoned and was given an email address so I sent an email in explaining the situation.

Two weeks later I get an envelope through the post with the exact same letter dated 28th January, only this time it has two copies of the letter in.

I work in administration so I know what it can be like to work in large unwieldy organisations. However, the awful administration of such important work like this doesn't give me confidence for the entire process.

If they are sending me letters asking me to do things that I did 3months ago, how can I rely on anything else being done correctly? Like is someone just reading my email and sending out a duplicate to answer my question or was this just a coincidence that I've got a second copy? Am I better off replying to the letter with my own letter? Do I actually need to do something else that the letter doesn't invite me to do? Do you still have my amended claim? If you have my amended claim why are you giving me permission to amend it? Why isn't someone seeing the amended claim on my file? And then it leads to having faith in other, potentially bigger things like, how can I be confident that the correct evidence will be passed to the judge?

It might only seem like a small administrative thing, but having faith in the process is the whole point of this. A bad/confusing experience where nobody seems to be giving out any correct information gives an awful impression.

Edit - got a hearing date and told to phone a number and pay my hearing fee. Number just rings off. It says online you can't go in person to pay either unless by appointment. How do you get an appointment? You guessed it, you have to ring that number.

They never answer phone calls. Only one person in bankruptcy section who never answers calls. Fees office collect fees but cannot tell you how much to pay even when simple case. Cannot book appointment to see them as you have to make a phone appointment and they do not answer the phone. They never email you back. Been waiting 2 weeks to speak to somebody and almost 2 weeks to even know what they are doing with documents I dropped off at their drop box. Must have called them 200 times in last week. Total misery for me!

Very very poor service the Judge takes decision without looks my evidence of DV and they makes final of my ex-husband evidence that’s unfairly to be honest, He said I do make False allegations on my ex-husband which is not true,, I was sending all my evidence of DV to Court again to see the Judge is true and I am not lie , My solicitor was side of my ex husband that’s why she didn’t sending my evidence to Court , I see this Court doesn’t care words of the mother or risk of the child they only care to finish them job and go home , that’s it , My barrister told me to don’t talk to much because I don’t have enough evidence, so the Judge must give me a chance to show those evidence and not quickly take a decision. I see this Court is to much in rushing , quickly everything to finish. I’m so upsetting. I have to take my child to my country i do left the UK because the Court was an unfair , 0 experience to this Court . Sorry to say but this is true . They give priority more to the man and not women. Shame🥲😞😞

Delays in sending paperwork, delays in answering phones, delays in sending letters.. delays in everything, so that you can never move on and get things done. Extremely frustrating!

Absolutely useless. The phone number is NEVER answered and emails are never replied to. You cannot get any information from the court. It is a disgrace that the justice system is allowed to grind to a halt like this. No one cares. No one does any work. Truly despicable from HMCTS. An national embarrassment.
