Good range of Welsh language and Welsh language related books, as well as learner focussed material. As well as the shop Ty Tawe also hosts various Welsh language groups, music, gigs, a bar, learning and other services.

Absolutely super shop. Not only a fabulous selection of Welsh cards, magazines, books and music but really lovely and unusual gifts. Highly recommended for unique, hand made presents for birthdays. The staff are really so friendly, I am a Welsh learner and they always help me on the cards to make sure I get the right one! A great selection and always so very helpful.

Extremely happy and pleased!! Went in for advice for a CD for my 5yr old as unfortunately I don't speak welsh, but he goes to a welsh school. The bloke I spoke to was fab!! He advised me on 2 Cds, 1 of which he said he might know from school. I was dubious, but I've got it on now and my little one is singing along to most of them, they're only a couple of minutes long, ideal for him. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend! I am sorry grateful and happy!!!!!

The shop has been revitalised of late and such a good job has been done by Emyr. It really is inviting now and as a Welsh learner I was very much welcomed by him. 'Siop' is not only a place where you can buy Welsh souvenirs, but also have amazing cultural program - everything common with heritage of that country! THIS IS REAL HIDDEN GEM of Swansea as there is no such a other place in whole City!
