Mintlyn Crematorium

Having had to arrange two funerals in the last two years, my wife who died in a road accident and my father, I have nothing but praise for the staff here. I chose to arrange and conduct both funerals without the aid of funeral directors or ministers. This is clearly an unusual choice but the staff went out of their way to support me. They were understanding and clearly explained the process including the requirements for constructing a 'cremation friendly' coffin. If you'd like to arrange a funeral without using funeral directors, and who wouldn't, rest assured that the staff at Mintlyn will support you.

A very peaceful and beautiful place. My daughter and I felt that this reflected my mum exactly.

Lovely grounds but what a depressing building. Dark bricks,dark wood,dark curtains. I know it's for a funeral but why make it even worse for people.

My mum’s funeral here was beautiful.

My husband's ashes were scattered at Mintlynn yesterday and all the staff I had dealings with were very nice and helpful. They made a very difficult time a lot easier to deal with. The grounds are beautifully kept and it is a very peaceful place. Thank you to everyone there.
