If like us, my wife and I, you have always fancied experiencing canal boating but were fearful of being left in charge of a boat, particularly after watching Pru and Tim’s adventures on the telly. This is a much better option for you to consider. So fear not, Nick, Gina and Lady will give the best experience ever. You will learn all you need to know about boat steering and negotiating locks, swing bridges etc: There again, if all you want is just to have a peaceful slow paced relaxing canal voyage with constantly changing aspects comprising lovely rural scenery or historic industrial heritage and much, much more besides, whilst all the time being well looked after and not having to lift a finger; then that’s an option for you too. For us, and our like-minded fellow passengers, it’s been a great holiday experience this year, 2019. So much so, we’ve already booked for June next year. If you decide to book a cabin; the only down side that I am duty bound to warn you of is this: Most definitely you will be afraid to jump on the bathroom scales when you get back home.

A relaxing way to travel. Everything is catered for, Nick and Gina are great hosts. You can walk along the towpath, open locks or sit on the top and watch the world go by. This is a floating hotel with great showers, flushing toilets and comfortable beds.
