Travelex Foreign Currency Exchange and Travel Money

So impressed with the service here the other day.

Why the guy in front of me couldn't accept that they have to stick to the rules I will never know, but the guy working was so polite and patient with him.

I got an apology (wasn't cashiers fault) for my wait, and the rate I wanted so one happy bunny

Shocking exchange rates. I bought FX at LHR, was persuaded by the salesperson to take out £300, more than I had planned, and then when I changed it back at the Selfridges outlet I lost over £60. Don't use them, they are tricksters! I asked about buy back in LHR but was told by the agent that it wasn't available.

I changed 1500$ they give me 980£

Really bad rate 1.04 for euro when 9 minutes away hnb FX has almost exact as on Google 1.14

LIESSSS! they tricked us into getting there card they even said we will get out money back if we don't use it. We cashed on £450 to lira we didn't even spend a penny 12hrs later they said we can only get half our money back because the value had dropped I mean what rubbish is this.
Don't trust them it's all about how they make commission on a sale! And they don't have any answers

Went to Travelex in London Stansted Airport to exchange Euros to GBP. The website offered a reasonable rate, but when I purchased 100 GBP, I paid over 25% more than advertised, wasting more than 30€. I feel stupid for being so trusting and for not double checking. Although the staff were polite, I will recommend everyone avoid Travelex at all costs, and to tell others to do the same.
