I have been a customer of Clair's Sewing Services for over five years now and would not trust anyone else. Clair is so very professional in everything she does. She will give advice when you are not really sure what you want and has gone the extra mile on more than one occasion, to try and help. I have taken items and sometimes Clair has not been sure if she will be able to repair them, but she will always try and see what she can do. Clair is very efficient and everything is completed to a very high standard and very reasonable cost. I would wholeheartedly recommend Clair and her business to anyone.

Clair has just made curtains for me and I could not be happier. Clair has done some alterations to curtains for me previously and I approached her to make a pair of curtains for an awkward shaped window with fabric I had already seen but at prices previously quoted for making, could not afford. The help and honest advice she gave on sizing due to the shape of the window was invaluable and her price was far far cheaper than other quotes!
Clair made the curtains to the size discussed with weights and eyelets as requested, fully lined with lining she provided which is excellent and really well priced. They were ready in a matter of a two or three days. The finish on the curtains is fantastic and I could not be happier with them. I will definitely be using Clair again in the future and would recommend to anyone. A very helpful and professional service, highly recommended.

I found Clair on the web when I was looking for someone to hem my curtains. I saw the 5 star reviews so took a chance. Perfect job. I have now used her to hem a pair of jeans, again a perfect job. And to top it all she is not expensive.

I phoned with an enquiry for some curtain alterations. Within 2 hours I was given a quote, which I accepted. Took curtains in at 10 am on Friday-at 3pm had a text to say curtains were finished, and collected them at 4.30 pm
