What a lovely place for a wander, the paper guide wasn't the most accurate, but we eventually found our way, apologies if we went into someone's field 🙄 The two ladies in the café we're very friendly and made a good cuppa. We will definitely visit again, probably not on the hottest day of the year again though 🥵

Gorgeous grounds, quite steep in places, wonderful views from the high ground, liked the sign posting around the grounds but could do with more as lots of paths.
Liked the labels on some shrubs.
Generally not suitable for wheelchairs or people with frames, although the grounds near the House are fine.
Would have liked the gardens to be kept better esp the Millenium One, enjoyed the water feature.
Loved the cafe and food.

Beautiful as always. Recommend the coffee and cream tea too. These photos don't do the gardens justice, you'll just have to find out for yourselves!

Great walk round the estate with fabulous views from the castle at the top of the hill.

Wonderful country estate to discover. Lots of walking trails which are all different. The views from the Castle are breathtaking on a clear day. The cafe has a wide range of fayre, cream teas, baked potatoes, ploughman's lunch and lots more, all served with a smile. I would suggest taking out the day to visit Castle Hill. Enjoy!

Stunning house set in beautiful grounds with a small castle ruin at top. Beautiful views well worth a visit. Nice little tea offered. Highly recommended.

Beautifully Presented gardens surrounding the Castle Hill Estate.. We visited on a lovely sunny day and took a 2 hours walk around the gardens up to the castle.. We even spoke to the lady of the house who was tending to the Gardens near the front of the House

Great place for a walk around beautiful gardens. Also windy at the top where castle is so take a jumper. Suitable for children too little explorers. Like me. Dontbfkrgwt to look behind the coffee hut theres something pretty awesome behind that. It's where you pay to get in. Think it's about 7 quid each adults that is
