PopGems® Academy - Performing Arts, Dance & Drama Classes in Beckenham

My daughter has been going here for nearly 2 years now and her confidence and social skills have improved greatly. Not only that but she loves dance and music more then ever, Gem and her team have made such a comfortable and fun place for the kids to start off their journey in the academy. Looking forward to what the future brings.

What an amazing performing arts school! My 9 year old daughter attends the performing arts classes on Saturdays (drama, singing, dancing) and loves it so much that she has just started the Musical Theatre class on Tuesdays. My daughter's confidence has grown from strength to strength since she joined over 2 years ago. Gem and her team are absolutely fantastic and hugely professional. They went above and beyond with the online classes during lockdown and even organised fun online masterclasses with the likes of Joanne Clifton from Strictly. As for the 10th anniversary show that took place in November, it was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend PopGems Academy. We are so proud and grateful to be part of the PopGems family!!

My daughter joined pop gems a few years ago and has gone strength to strength in her confidence. So much so she has chosen drama for her GCSE’s and was spotted by an agent to represent her in future up and coming opportunities for tv roles .

Both of my girls have been attending PopGems Academy for nearly 4 years now and they love every minute of their class. My daughter is 7 and has been attending Popgems performing arts and dance classes for over 2 years. Over this time she has made friends, grown in confidence and performed on stage multiple times. Of all the classes she does, this is the one she looks forward to and is committed most each week! Gem, Rachael and Luke are fantastic teachers, adored by the kids and each week offer them individual support and enthusiasm in addition to fantastic opportunities. Our daughter is so happy to be part of the Popgems family and we’re delighted that we found them!

My daughter has been attending Pop Gems since the age of 3 years and it has been a great confidence builder for her, she has made great friends and had amazing opportunities to perform in a theatre. They are a great team of teachers who encourage the best out of all the children.
They have been amazing with the communication throughout Covid-19, keeping parents and students up to date with changes and recommendations for all to return safely. I have been confident in the return to studios knowing they are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and up to date with the every changing regulations and guidelines. The Popgems family is warm, accomodating and understanding. A perfect first time social extracurricular that im grateful my daughter is part of.

My 20 months old son just joined the Pop Tots and I am so glad we found it. The team is amazing and very friendly. What I love most is that during the class, Luke is constantly engaging with the kids, encouraging them to open up and get involved, he even remembers their names.
After only 2 classes my son started to engage a little bit more and I am over the moon. He loves music and dancing and I can definitely see him progressing in this lovely family - PopGems!

We absolutely love PopGems, my daughter can be quite shy and was a bit nervous when starting the class by herself, but she is always buzzing when she comes out wanting to go back!
All the teachers are really friendly!
Gem is so welcoming, she always makes the most of every situation, especially during lockdowns!
I have been so impressed with the zoom classes during these times, especially with the extra surprises like princess guest appearances and many more. It kept it more exciting for the children.
