The studio facilities are superb, but it is the teachers that really make this dance school. They are, without exception, friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable, talented and inspiring.
I have been taking lessons here since 2008: I started as a complete novice with a weekly group class and last week was able to take the IDTA Gold Bar 2 examination. I never dreamed that I would be able to dance at this level, but Greg and his team have made it possible! I really cannot recommend this dance school highly enough.

I have been taking lessons at this school for the past year. The teachers are so knowledgable and patient and I really enjoy every minute here. If you're looking for top class teaching and a fun hobby that allows you to progress and grow, this is the place.

My new husband and I are not dancers by any means but wanted to do something other than the standard swaying from side to side for our first dance as a married couple, so signed up for some classes here. Our teacher was Sophie and she was an absolute pleasure to learn from, she was so friendly and we enjoyed our laughter-filled lessons with her greatly. We got so many compliments from guests and moved multiple people to tears, but more importantly we had such a fun time learning the dance. Sophie created a gorgeous routine to a non-typical first dance song and was always very respectful of our wishes and would never push her own vision on us if there were any moves we were not fans of. Could not have asked for a better dance teacher and all that while she was going through the stressful time of doing her studies. We miss seeing her every other week already!

We took the beginner Salsa class. The instructor is funny and good with teaching. However, the class was so big and the instructor forgets to come by and check our moves in 2 our of 4 classes. After 4 classes, we still had no idea what we were doing. We paid the full price for two and it was nearly 200 pounds. It's definitely not worth the money. Could get quality teaching with better price elsewhere.

I’ve been trying for two weeks to schedule a lesson for today at London Academy of Dance. I’m visiting from the U.S. and wanted to establish a pro-am ballroom dance relationship with an instructor for when I’m often in London. The phone number on the website has been disconnected, emails and WhatsApp messages go ignored (except one that told me to schedule online), and after paying online I cannot schedule and haven’t heard back from them after taking my money. I had hoped to speak with a human to schedule a double lesson for today as part of a package with a professional today before I leave. Next time I’ll go with a more reputable school that wants international student competitors.

The London Academy of Dance are great! We went to them for our first dance for our Wedding. They were really accommodating and flexible, helping us get our dance lessons in a short amount of time.
Lorena is lovely and incredibly helpful and Stefan was an absolutely great teacher. We would highly recommend them regardless of dance experience and are very happy with how our routine has come out and what we’ve been able to achieve with them.
