Hamilton Dance Maghull

My daughter has been attending this dance school since she was 3 and loves it! They have taken her through ballet, tap, street, acro, limbering, contemporary, jazz and lyrical but offer so much more.

A particular highlight was the fantastic show produced last summer The Magic Wardrobe. This showed all levels of dance across the school and was lovely for the little ones to see what they can achieve at Hamilton.

Couldn't recommend this school more lovely teachers and mums - not typical dance mums ☺️

Following a relocation to the area I was looking for a local dance class for my little girl, who had previously danced where we lived and wanted to continue this. After sending information requestes to several local dance schools, Annsliase was not only the only instant response I got but also the most welcoming and with being new to the area this was extremely important to me. I was also hoping it would help my little girl mix with children local to the area as she was shy and had struggled with the relocation, leaving current friends and change of routine/home/school/area/familiarity. Very quickly I noticed my little girls confidence and social skills and circle grow dramatically. The teachers, dancers and parents alike welcomed us into this well established, professional school with open arms! Two years later even with covid 19 thrown into the mix our time here part of Hamiltons Dance school has been absolutely amazing! We both couldn't imagine our lives without our hamilton family now, my little girls passion for dance has sky rocketted along with her confidence and alot of that is thanks to the time and effort made by annaliase and the other dance teachers at the school, Hannah, Laura and Lucie to name a few. We honestly can't recommend hamiltons dance school enough.

My daughter started dancing with Hamilton Dance when she was 5 years old. She’s been given some of the most amazing opportunities that have allowed her to develop her love for dance and given her such confidence. The friendly and caring atmosphere has created some of the most beautiful friendships where the dancers love for each other shows when they support each other at competitions, shows and exams. The caring and compassionate nature of the teachers along with their passion and expertise shines through and is the heart of the school.

My daughter loves the dance schoo and has been going there for 5 years now. All the teachers are brilliant and lovely, and Anneliese is amazing. All the kids love it who go there.

Both of my daughters (age 15 and 17) dance at Hamilton. They absolutely love dancing and although they've only been at Hamilton a few years, they have made some lovely friends. The classes are age-based so they attend classes with their school friends. They have passed several exams, to a high standard and absolutely love taking part in the dance shows and competitions. I must add, the quality and choreography are excellent. They have attended Zoom classes throughout the lockdown and while this has helped them keep dancing and keep in touch with their teachers and friends, they are desperate to get back to real life classes. Their favourite classes are modern and contemporary. As a parent, I have to add that I find the school ethics to be very good, the children (and parents) are all very well mannered and pleasant, in particular at shows and competitions.

Training at Hamilton dance has been a godsend to my children, particularly over the past 12 months. It has given them a sense of normality when every other aspect of their lives was disrupted. It kept some structure to their days, gave them a break from the intensity of homeschooling and ensured that they remained active. The quality of teaching at Hamilton is outstanding and the positive focus dance gives them is vital as they navigate their teen years. We can’t wait to get back to face to face classes next term.

My daughter has attended Hamilton Dance since she was 3 she is now 6 and does ballet, tap and street dance she absolutely loves dancing and has been so happy to continue through lockdown on the Zoom classes. All the teachers are lovely with the children and couldn’t recommend this dance school enough.

We moved to Hamilton Dance during lockdown so have yet to enjoy all the really lovely stuff as a parent, ie. shows, comps etc. Meantime, two things stand out for us during our short time at the school, firstly, Anneliese's fantastic communication skills - her focus, energy and optimism; and secondly, her understanding that by surrounding herself with a strong team, she can collaboratively bring out the best in each individual child. We have every confidence in Anneliese continuing to guide and support our daughter and we look forwards to the next steps.
