KATZ DANCEWEAR AND FANCY DRESS

I have been using Katz to buy shoes, accessories, dancewear and costumes since my daughter started dancing 14 years ago. I have never had any problem or trouble with anything I have ordered or bought and I think the costumes are made to a very high standard with very exceptional prices. Even when a costume has been not quite what we asked for (us being picky) they took all responsibility and were extremely happy to make any changes and corrections without any charge to us. Compared to other dancewear shops and companies Katz is exceptional and I would seriously recommend to anyone needing an sort of costume. Costumes are always ready very well in time and very well made. We always have what we ask for and nothing less. I have always received excellent service from all the staff and they have been understanding, accepting and extremely helpful. We would recommend Katz to anyone.

Utterly dreadful customer service. I purchased an outfit for a child, without the child present. I informed the assistant who served me that I was unsure of the fit or even whether he would like it.
I called the shop later the same day at 4.50pm to check opening times as it was unsuitable, to be informed I could not return the item. After much umming and ahhing, I was told I could return it but they were closing so I would have to return it no later than 9.15 the following morning.
When I got to the shop at 9.15am I was informed I could not have a refund just store credit or an exchange, and I should be grateful as that is not normally offered!
I appreciate there are people who would buy and item, wear it and return it, but I had stated to the assistant that I wasn't sure of the suitability, she should have informed me at the time that I would have no right to return it. This was explained to me by a very condescending member of staff this morning as she pointed to the notice on my receipt that stated "We operate an exchange or credit note policy on all goods." (A little late to find out from the receipt as it means I've already purchased the item!)
All -in-all products not bad. Customer service awful. This is not just based on one visit and one person having a bad day, over the 2 days I've had contact with 4 members of staff + someone on the telephone and all seem to have an inflated view of their own importance.

Thank you for the beautiful tap costume you have just made for me, it's far better than I imagined. You are always really helpful and full of great ideas. I would not hesitate in recommending you to others.

I get my daughters leotards from Katz, there customer service is beyond brilliant, they have always been really helpful to me and nothing is ever to much trouble.

Purchased a ‘Elf on the Shelf’ balloon today. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Went out of their way to help! Highly recommend!

Love this shop, my mum came here for me when I was younger and I’m 35 now. always come here whenever I need an outfit or for my daughter. Came in the other day for a circus costume for my daughter, the lady was so helpful …Lovely friendly staff and always there to help.. highly recommend and I’ll continue using this shop 👍
